In the early morning, we’ll join locals in harvesting water lilies, capturing one of the most iconic images of Southern Vietnam - women in Ao Ba Ba (traditional outfit of Southern Vietnamese), conical hats, and “khan ran” working gracefully while collecting water lilies in the water.
Afterward, we’ll return to Saigon and fly to Quy Nhon. We’ll then travel to Phu Yen, stopping to photograph Hon Kho’s golden seaweed beds at low tide - a striking scene from above. Continuing to Tuy Hoa for overnight.

Of course, the scene continues to be excellent for another hour or so - it’s hard to get enough! After breakfast, we head south to Phan Rang. This afternoon is an exciting, somewhat frantic but fun shoot involving hundreds of sheep being herded down a dusty rural path to a small Cham farm. After hotel check-out, we journey along the scenic coastal road to Hue, a city steeped in imperial history. Once there, we’ll explore the Emperor’s Tomb, where traditional Ao Dai models bring elegance and grace to each frame (this session is for traditional cameras only). Alternatively, we can swap to an exciting fishermen action shoot, with nets flying - capturing from a bridge, drone, and water level. The day concludes with a sunset shoot of floating lanterns illuminating the water.
